The Corner Closet Donation Center, located at 525 Fillmore St, Davenport, is open from Monday to Wednesday, between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM. This center serves HHSI's shelter and housing participants in need of clothing and household essential items.
Starting July 1st, 2024, Corner Closet donations will only be accepted from 10 am to 3 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Thursday and Friday we will not accept donations.
Due to the increase in the sheer volume of guests in our shelter and housing programs, we will no longer be hosting Community Days at the Corner Closet starting April 1st, 2024. Please visit our Resources site for community assistance.

The Fresh Start Resale Center Shop, located at 522 Fillmore St, welcomes the public from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM Monday through Friday. Additionally, we host our 2nd Saturday sale every second Saturday of the month from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, offering a 50% discount on all items in the store.
At the Fresh Start Center, we open our doors to the public, offering a diverse selection of new and gently used items that are both clean and functional. More than just a thrift store, the Fresh Start Center serves as a lively hub of generosity and community spirit.
In line with our commitment to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, we also sell a portion of surplus in-kind donations or items that are not immediate necessities at the Corner Closet Donation Center. These sales play a crucial role in funding our programs and services, complementing restricted grants and ensuring a comprehensive approach to meeting the needs of our community members. When you shop at our resale shop, you directly contribute to the success of our services and programs.
